There's a real lack of variety in the greeting card market. Of course, there's nothing lacking in the area of sappy, artificial emotions that just happen to be the same as yours even though they're written by some guy in a suit that has never met you!
The problem is, greeting card companies are out of touch with reality. For one thing, they assume that the only people you know are the people you care about! What about your enemies? Ignoring them at major holidays would be just plain insensitive. And what about other situations where a generic, touchy-feeling greeting card just won't do?
