Another e-tarded e-mail exchange, taking the crank call into the new millennium. The following is an actual e-mail exchange.
(Cities for Peace describes themselves as a "rapidly growing coalition of local elected officials and concerned citizens working to get City Councils and other civic bodies to pass resolutions against a war on Iraq.")

Dear Cities for Peace,
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you
for rising up. Rising up against those evil forces in
the world who until now, remain voiceless and unheard.
Those innocent ones, who need help, care, and above
all, no more American bombs flying through the air and
flying through their windows, and flying, flying,
flying. WE MUST END THIS EVIL ACTION BY THOSE IN THIS
COUNTRY WHO WISH TO END THE WORLD'S UNIFICATION AND
PEACEFUL EXISTENCE WITH MUSLIM TERRORISTS AND INNOCENT
IRAQI BABIES WHO WILL DIE WHEN WE ATTACK THOSE BABIES
WITH CHEMICAL WEAPONS.
My main point/question is "How can I help you in this
war against war?" Can I help you with money? Or is
there a way I can demonstrate? So many of us are
alone, at work, at our jobs, or even at our places of
employment doing nothing, or working, or doing
absolutely nothing, nothing at all. Nothing in this
war. How can I help? I just can't bare to stand idle
while Bush and Trumsfeld drag us into this "unwanted
pregnancy" of a war. Again, I applaud your efforts to
stop this before it starts! Good for you! Or even if
it starts, but you make it stop before it really
starts, anything. Anything at this point will help. Do
you accept contributions?
Regards,
Jason Roth

Jason, how about starting an anti-war resolution campaign in your town/city? Is there a local peace group or church that might assist you? We have step by steps on our site www.citiesforpeace.org...

Ms. Dolan,
I like the idea of starting a revolution, and yes,
there is a Catholic Church which might be able to help
me. However, I stopped going to that church years ago
when I became an atheist, so I don't know whether they
would still help me. Of course, I am fine with the
"multi-lateral" approach towards peace, but I can't
guarantee my ex-Church will be so hot for the idea. Do
you mind if I drop your name?

Ms. Dolan,
I hope you weren't turned off by my atheism. Do you
not want atheists to help out in the cause of peace?

Jason

Ms. Dolan,
Thank you so much for replying. I do want to approach
my old church, but I'm having second thoughts about
supporting the anti-war movement. If you could help, I
would very much appreciate it.
Here's my problem. I'm for peace. But I'm against
terrorism. I really, really, really, really want
terrorism to stop, but I really, really, really,
really want peace. I'm afraid I just can't get dressed
up like that anymore. You know what I mean? It's that
whole "bra and panties" thing. I know, it sounds
ridiculous, but I'm seriously concerned. Is this
really the right way to approach the situation? How
have you managed to handle the pro-peace initiative? (Do
you manage your own group?)
Regards,
Jason
