Frequently Asked Questions
- Do have a banner I can take and use to link to your site?
Sure. You'll find several here.
- What were the other names you considered for this website?
You can find a list of scrapped site names and taglines here.
- What tools did you use to build this site?
Savethehumans.com was built with BBEdit, the HTML editor for the Mac. Graphics were created with Adobe ImageStyler, a now-defunct program that has fallen into obscurity. Some of the JavaScript was taken from the JavaScript Source, a nice free resource that let us spend the time of learning JavaScript on more important things, like making jokes about religion. And last but not least, the CGI scripts were provided by Matt Wright of Matt's Script Archive, Inc.
- Did you know there is a tyop in your fourth frequently asked question?
Yes, we have corrected that error. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
- Does morality require a Santa Claus?
Yes, but only until you're old enough to reject the red suit and white beard in favor of a white suit and white beard. Incidentally, it wasn't a star that led the three kings to Baby Jesus, but a red nosed reindeer.
