We've all seen enough photos of Afghan kids in the news to fill a scrapbook. You know what I'd like to see? Just one photo of some American kids with the caption: "What about these innocents who will die if America does not fight back?"

Dear Mr. Roth --
I found your letter to the editor of the Record in the Oct. 10th issue so interesting. With all the information about how hard, if not impossible, it is to find terrorist [sic] and with all the information that Afganistan [sic] is a country so poor that that [sic] it has the lowest per person food intake in the world, 25% of the children die before the age of 5. [sic] What they call defense is a joke - they have nothing compared in any way to this country.
Our leaders decided to bomb the country saying they were friends of the Afgans [sic] but were against the Talibans - interesting statement. Do you really think that if Osama Bin Laden was in that country, and this country does not know that, he and his gang would let the Taliban give them up. [sic] Do grow up - try it [sic] you will like it [sic] your friends and family will love it.
